The Good, the Bad and the Fake

A new, youth-oriented exhibition about counterfeiting and how to tell the difference between real and counterfeit paper money.

Opening in January 2011

In a comic-strip format, the exhibition tells the story of Zoë and Dave—teenagers who find a bag of money in an alley. At first, they think they’re rich, but the money turns out to be counterfeit—just worthless paper. Throughout the exhibition, Zoë and Dave learn some valuable tips about how to use the many security features found on Canada’s paper money to help identify fake bills—a valuable skill to have as these teens enter the workforce.
