“The students were active and motivated.”

Using detective skills to stay ahead of counterfeiters
(for ages 12-14, groups of 6 to 36 students)
This program is offered in conjunction with a visit to the exhibition The Good, The Bad, and The Fake during the fall. Students form teams and set off on a scavenger hunt that provides lessons on the history of both money and counterfeiting. Counterfeiting is a serious crime. When uncontrolled it can lead to a loss of confidence in the value of money. During this program, students will learn ways of protecting themselves against counterfeits by learning how to tell the difference between a fake and the real thing.
