March Is the Month for Fighting Counterfeiting

1 to 31 March 2011
Counterfeiting is a real crime with real victims! Become a detective of counterfeiting and see if you can spot the real from the fake. Visit us at the Currency Museum for fun activities that everyone can enjoy!
Come and learn about the history of counterfeiting through hands-on activities:
-a scavenger hunt—you will follow the trail of some of the most colourful counterfeiting cases in Canada
-self-guided audio tours on the history of counterfeiting—from ancient times to the present
-a display of counterfeit goods seized by the police
-an interactive comic-strip exhibition, “The Good, the Bad, and the Fake,” a story of good money gone bad
We are open weekdays during March Break (28 February to 4 March, and 14 to 18 March). We offer activities for the entire family!
