What Is Money? Educational Kit
(grades 4 to 6)
This kit teaches students about the functions and characteristics of money by using examples of currencies used at different times throughout history. Students will learn that the fundamental principle underlying all currencies, be they shells or salt bricks or government-minted coins, is that people have confidence in their value.
